Pencil Sketch services
I work in black and white mainly, using Faber-Castell pencils on 200gsm fine grain heavyweight paper. A pencil sketch is the more affordable option and you will receive an original artwork to treasure. I love working in pencil – it’s a versatile drawing media and allow for a variety of marks. Depending on the subject and your wishes, pencil sketches can be subtle and delicate or bold and vigorous. I sketch people and pets and will need a high-quality photograph to work from. Acrylic Painting services
An original painted portrait is the ultimate gift, whether it’s for yourself or a loved one. It is something to treasure forever and pass down to future generations. I have painted in acrylic since I was a child and love the freedom this paint offers. It’s a versatile, durable medium and the best for painting your pet or person portrait. I use Winsor & Newton Professional Acrylic paints on Daler-Rowney stretched canvas or Winsor & Newton canvas board. Capturing a true likeness of my subject on canvas is the ultimate artistic challenge. Contact me for a no-commitment chat about commissioning an original painted portrait.

Commission a portrait
If you would like to commission a portrait please email me and we can discuss your requirements.
Once commissioned a clear photograph of the subject will need to be emailed. The photograph will need to be high resolution, well-lit, and clear. As I work only from photographs those which are badly-lit, too far away, or blurry will affect the final portrait.
When completing a portrait of your pet I would appreciate, if possible, a couple of short videos so that I can capture your pet’s character. There’s nothing quite like seeing an animal move to help capture them on canvas.
Once the portrait is complete I will send an image of the final piece for your approval. If you are happy I will send the portrait via tracked mail within 3 to 5 days of the final payment being received.

The quality of the photograph you choose is really important. I can only work from photos which are:
High resolution
Well lit
Clear and sharp
Subject fills the frame
How do I commission a painting or sketch?

- I'll get back to you with a turnaround time and fixed price
- Send me your high-resolution, clear, well lit image
- Send me your deposit via bank transfer to confirm the commission
- I get painting or drawing!
- I email you a photograph of your finished artwork for approval
- You pay the final balance by bank transfer
- Your portrait is lovingly packaged
- It's sent via Royal Mail tracked post within 3-5 working days
- You receive your artwork and are delighted!
